This wheel was developed specifically for GT3 cars. In this application, the aerodynamic load of the cars are extremely high (very similar to those encounter in Indycar) and the vehicles use slick tires for maximum cornering grip. This combination generates an extremely high coefficient of friction, close to 2.0.Meanse, and creates an incredible pressure on the tires that reaches 1000 kg of vertical load and 2000 kg of lateral load (extreme G Forces). The final consideration is the brake system which in these vehicles is very powerful producing high temperature and extreme torque forces that have direct impact on the wheels.
